Prototype 2
Starting off my second prototype I began work on the new hydro turbine right away by testing the voltage produced by this device. Once realizing it was creating significant amounts of voltage a second one was ordered.
Prototype 2 Continued
While waiting on the second turbine I reconstructed my pvc structure to accommodate the extra turbine. I also continued experimentation with the first turbine. Finally when the second turbine arrived I installed it and began work on wiring all my components together to charge a battery pack.
Visuals
The 2 posters and video I created are supposed to act as supporting visuals to my demos of the wind and hydro turbines. The posters give a list of more things that could be done with the turbines if people were going to try to use them in their lives. By giving people ideas the goal was that more people would purchase these devices seeing how they could be used in multiple ways. The video then acts as a persuasive tool when talking about small scale renewable energy because it briefly explains my project before going into the importance of it. This again is hopefully able to show people how viable small scale renewable energy is.

STEAM EXPO
During the night of the STEAM EXPO my table was set up with my 2 demos that would charge my battery pack connected to my phone when I turned it on. I then had a monitor playing my video and multiple posters hung up to show my project and some of the steps taken to get to the final result.
STEAM SPOTLIGHT
I also participated in the STEAM SPOTLIGHT where I was able to speak to an audience about my project. In the few minutes that I spoke I talked about the reasons behind my project, what I did, and the impacts of what I was doing on the community.
